For women, the environment to be established as an entrepreneur in Bangladesh is still not suitable. But working in the adverse environment, the women of this country are building themselves as entrepreneurs. Nearly 32 percent of the women present in Bangladesh are women. As a result of how many women in a country's entrepreneurship, Bangladesh has 6 out of 54 countries in the world. Such information was found in a survey of women entrepreneurs from MasterCard, a multinational corporation on financial transactions.
The survey, titled 'MasterCard Index of Women Entrepreneur (MIWE)', has said that the benefits that a woman needs to grow as an entrepreneur; the most important is the financial support and easy business environment. In these two fundamental benefits, the number of 100 scores in the MIDW Index is 32, which includes the lowest among the 54 countries covered by the survey. In response to the question of how women in Bangladesh are getting more entrepreneurs, after getting so few benefits, the women of this country are becoming entrepreneurs to fulfill their financial needs. Bangladeshi women use it if any business opportunity is available.
According to the report, New Zealand is ahead in creating a suitable environment for women as an entrepreneur. Canada, USA, Sweden, Singapore, Belgium, Australia, Philippines, United Kingdom and Thailand are in the next position. The lack of financial support, lack of self-confidence and entrepreneur tendency, as the biggest problem in women's business in the report, is highlighted.
Bangladesh is 125th in the global entrepreneur index
Bangladesh is ranked 125th among the 132 countries in the global entrepreneur index. Bangladesh has emerged at five points above the last time in the index of 2016.
This information was revealed on Friday from the annual report published by the US-based Global Entrepreneurship and Development Institute. The United States is at the top position in the report. Then there are Canada, Australia, Denmark and Sweden.
Bangladesh has got 15 decimal points out of 100 in the index. Through this the entrepreneur has emerged as a bad place in the Asian-Pacific region and in the global context. Taiwan ranked 6th, Singapore 11th, Indonesia 103rd, Pakistan 109th and Myanmar at 117th place.
In addition, Burkina Faso, 126th in 15th position, scored 14.6 points, Madagascar at 127th position and Chad got the last 132 by 9.9 points. The index is considered for entrepreneurial attitude, entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial ambition.
